So we know "Upper Room" is an odd name. Let us explain...

In the Bible, the 'upper room' of a house was where significant things happen – like where they would host special guests or celebratory feasts. In fact, throughout Biblical records there are many historic events that occurred in the "upper room"...

God used his servant Elijah to bring a boy back to life... Jesus had the last supper with his closest friends... the Disciples met together in Jerusalem in an upper room and it was most likely there that God's Spirit came upon them at Pentecost

So – we want our church to be a place where significant things happen. And what is more significant than encountering God in the context of a loving and authentic community?

Upper Room Community Church just fit. You can find URCC, as we like to be called, in theatre 25 in the AMC Theatres at Hwy 7 and Hwy 400 on Sunday mornings at 9:45am. Not the Colossus. We've been meeting together for only a few years, but we are a group that is growing and longing to see God work in Vaughan through us.
